Glad I can share that VELO aka Paul Williams gave me approval to convert a 3D model he made for AC. As kid I have taken place once behind the wheel in the pits and I never forget this Le Mans winner. It's a beast! Produced from: 2001 - 2004 Numbers built: 10 Designed by: Pininfarina Coming early 2025 First view in showroom of the early process: With a bit luck, we can soon put away my Cayman suit .. (LOL)
people always say "V10!" "V10!" "V10!", but for me, the sound that really hits the mark is the V12... Watched this baby live, dominate at Portimão, back in the day. It was thunderous. I must have eaten 100 flies, as I could not close my mouth in awe at the beauty of it passing by, on the last turn accelerating into the main straight.
Why reinvent the wheel? I hope you have spoken to RaceSimStudio for a collaboration https://racesimstudio.sellfy.store/p/gt-pack/
They would never approve it, because why would you buy their mod if you can have it for free in RF2? Or I should make it payware on their behalve but then I know what to expect from it and compared to the work vs returns it's a no go anyway.
I almost agree, but yeah baby this car rocks the track! Most cars from that series are crazy. For me the 550 is the one, Viper back then was also very strong, I remember the Larbre Compétition trucks in the paddock like yesterday. Those Vipers at Eau Rouge where scraping on the front diffuser, lap by lap. After the 24 hours me and my Dad back then had a look again at the front plate, the carbon was almost half the size in height on the bottom plate. Lucky me my dad (I sound young now but I'm 39) was a Benelux marshall and he had access to most non public areas
The races we saw in the States on TV were usually Vipers pitted against Lister Storms. The listers would romp away early as the Vipers were under strict orders to conserve their brakes. When a certain distance was reached, the Vipers were unleashed and they would reel in the Storms. Of course THEN we had the GTP/LMP cars that had GT disguises. The Masaratti & Corvette....
Looking forward to this car but my main concern with this is that it is a single car. The GT1s we have are not really from the same era and are built for a different kind of racing (one mod is based on the 2010 GT1s so the FIA GT1 World Championship, which is a sprint championship more than endurance and the other from the 1990s are built to a different regulations all toghether). So when is some company to the car coming?
I only brought the MC12 to the fray due to it’s beautiful V12 sound. Earlier I mentioned the companions which the 550 would need.
