Released February Build Hotfix #2 Now Available

Hello sim racers

A new build hotfix for the latest public release of rFactor 2 is now available.

Build: 10610208
Dedi: 10610218

• modmgr is now fully compatible with new style serverunlocks
• +connect=password@dedi: port syntax works again

 

I have no idea what this means. But it seems like good news.

Slight x-post from the Discord support. Do you run rF2 client on the same PC as the SteamCMD server?

@Myrvold No my server is on a second PC at home.
SteamCMD servers won't work with steam open on my server pc. I have a second steam account that I used to use for servers needing a second install (older Sims).

I had to uninstall all the paid content I installed yesterday then I was able to reinstall them correctly.

Shut down Steam (if that account doesn't own DLC) and when you start the CMD server it shows content, when steam is open there will be no content on the server.
Hope that make sense....Hope it fixes your problem.

 

How do I see what build # the server is on?
I did the update, same as always.

Navigate to Server folder/steamapps and there will be a file called appmanifest_400300.acf. Open it with your favourite text editor (I use Notepad++) and you'll see on line 12 the buildID
