    Drivers get ready! Qualifying is underway for the Fanatec Sebring International Raceway 12 hour on the 23rd March, featuring well-known names in sim racing and beyond, and over €10,000 in prizes!!
    The race will be broadcast on our streaming channels with support from our media partner WTF1 and the chance to win awesome prizes!

    Race day details:
    Race length: 12 hours
    Race day: March 23rd
    Classes: LMP2, GTE, GT3 (12-14-14)
    5 teams confirmed for LMP2 (7 spots up for qualifiers)
    6 teams confirmed for GTE (8 spots up for qualifiers)
    6 teams confirmed for GT3 (8 spots up for qualifiers)

    Schedule: (all times are CET)
    09:00 - Open practice (Only starting driver must be on the race server from this point)
    10:30-10:50 - Qualifying
    10:50 - Warmup (pre race notes)
    11:00 - Race start
    Single file formation lap
    Green flag announced on Voice from race director
    Weather: Set on raceday to mirror the correct weather on Sebring

    Rules:
    Mandatory driver swap
    Max: 40 teams (2-5 drivers each) - qualified driver must provide info to administration through email (after hotlap competition is over and email is sent out to you).
    The race will feature teams both from invites, qualifiers from GT3 race and qualifiers from competition system. So you still have a good chance on running.
    Low drag upgrade will be removed in the final version of the mod for this event.

    Instructions on Joining PreQualifying: Please note that joining the race is different, you will receive an email explaining this.
    STEP 1
    Buy the full game
    Buy the 2 GT3 DLC´s
    Buy the endurance pack (or at least the Oreca)
    Buy Sebring track

    STEP 2
    To enter go to our competition page rFactor2, make sure you login to Steam, fill in all your details, and subscribe to the session!

    STEP 3
    Click on 'Join Session'

    Important - Check your desktop back ground for the Steam pop up!

    Click OK and you're in!

    Please note that if it takes more than 3 minutes to load the track the first time you enter, it will fail - you will then have to reconnect.

    Practice server is online: S397 - 12h Sebring
    You must own: Sebring, Endurance pack and both GT3 packs

    Invites such as the GT3 qualifiers should now get together and discuss what class they want to run, there are no limitations - so LMP2, GTE or GT3

    Since there are only 20 minutes for qualifying, I assume it will be a private quali session, or am I wrong?
    I believe it would be better to have a proper session where every class goes out one by one, but that's just me.
    In private quali it feels like hotlapping, the immersion of racing is sort of gone.

    With multiple class you should do 40 min qualify, 20 min GTE/GT3 & 20 min P2

    I wouldn't worry too much about the quali format in a 12h race.
    Whatever it is it will get the job done and drivers can move on to the actual show.

    even if it is solo Qualifying, think about it. roughly 6 minutes of your time will be alone...the next 12 hrs you will be surrounded.

    That's not the one, that's for the actual race isn't it, I am waiting for the next competition to be announced to have another crack at qualifying and the fun that comes with it :)

    Official pre-qualifying for a spot for the 12 hour races starts today at 12:00 CET and ends on March 13th at 23:59

    Tengo todo el DLC instalado, pero fallo el RADICAL 2.37 y por esa razón no puedo acceder al servidor.

    One question in order to join the race with team mates.. everyone has to qualify in or just one member (like 3h event)?

    I have all the DLC installed, but failed the RADICAL 2.37 and for that reason I can not access the server. Thank you.

    You should only register to the class you really want to do, since i promise you, you will have to put in significant time to get in ;)

    Will we know the amount of avaliable places in each class beforehand?

    I mean accounting for the places lost to qualifiers from the people invited.
