F3 Fanatics

oi BB

Can you download the 1960s_MODERN_TRACKS and 1960s_ HISTORIC_TRACKS please.

Delete the ones start with F3

I have a terrible ping/ lag issue I can't resolve.

DD,

I don't have all the tracks for your "modern" vMOD. And now that there isn't one place to grab all the tracks, I find myself having more important things to do with my time than searching for tracks. I'm a busy guy... Maybe you could email me the tracks.

My plans for F3 Fanatics is to only run finished cars and tracks. The exceptions are the vMODs I already have that contain Lola... she's a long way from being finish... But, I still love her! : ) So. mostly will be running the iSi tracks.

And, you can visit my server and get my vMOD, they take no time to download or install.... And, I know you have what you'll need to get them.

Bryan

I getting tired off my troubles BB.
Rooms constantly lags and high ping out of the blue.

I can upload anything you need mate just get mod and do me a screenshot ( scroll the list )
Easy to airmail you a DVD I can do that ! >>> lopl

I will talk to you about donating and use your server and help you run it off hours
if something does not improve.

------------------------

I think it is a few updates you do not have added close to the last posts by Abriel.

btw the reason no more torrent is pretty clear to me BB.

Personally if I ran a torrent there would be a few tracks I would not include other then Silverstone.............. Tim :)

I understand ISI position, now the Indianapolis conversion will go the same way in time with the announcement of Indy Series :)

Look I know I a old fuddy but last few months listening to people either asking about bugs to the audacity of actually bagging certain types of tracks .......................holes like 100 foot off track LMAO..............gob smacking !@!@!@

I mean seriously these people all need the 2 month break I had to wake up to themselves.
Yet the same people next page support payware or a better cross conversion lol.

ISI as I said a year ago in a thread I got told I was a wanker that torrent should be approved by the authors first and the creds of tracks authenticated.

To me that is common courtesy and would have solved issues before they arose, like a few people came on here posted tracks they had no right, remember this was all after Abriels last torrent update so they never made it in there but more then likely would have.

Gee .....anyone besides BB reading and others know me should know I have nothing against no permission payware or otherwise on other sites or in private rooms.

But if it can not go in the torrent here it should not be on here, period, put it somewhere else.

But I done talking to brick walls mate. lol ;)

Hi Bryan

Tried to join your server last night but couldn't...i was able to download your vmod, and had all
the required mods,tracks...but the message i got was...client and server versions do not match.

So i assume your still running build 198 on your server...when i have build 218.

LOL!

Howdy Brian... didn't know 218 was released... I'll take care of that when I get the time.

DD, The main point of my reply to you is that... I run a business... two actually... I don't give a "rats anything" about whatever politics come up with these tracks and who owns the rights to what or who's doing whatever about whatever. I kind of wish that we had to pay for everything ala carte. Visa vi iRACING.

It was easy for me to keep the server and home machine up to date when I had a one stop shopping center for tracks. That's all I'm saying and I don't really care about why or why not it's not there anymore... The fact is, is that it isn't.

I'll give you the logon info for my server...

I don't have anything modern on my server except what is on iSi's download page.

The the only cars I have are the Historics and Lola. I like it that way. I don't like any of the new cars.

I'd have to talk you through adding tracks and vMODs... My server don't work like yours... or anyone else's that I know of. Team Speak will work best for that and it won't take long... just a couple of added steps. And I would insist on modifying the vMODs so as not to use Clio as the pace car and to have the icons that I use... That's what makes for the virtually instant download and installation of my vMODs possible.

Your types of vMODs won't be kept on it. Because I have no intentions of keeping my home machine up to date with tracks anymore either. One track is enough for me or anyone else to have to go find before joining my server.

You'll find that there is a vMOD for each track that I'm interested in on my server other vMODs can be added, but I only want one track per vMOD. The exception is my Lola-Historics-iSi vMOD which has all the tracks listed on iSi's download page, as mentioned above. One stop shopping.

I probably should have PM'd this info to you... but there it is.

Over and out.

Howdy,

You're welcome, Brian, the pleasure is mine.

Well I got it up and running last night... took some time, had to change where the dedicated.exe looked to find installed mods.

It's all good! I noticed that the game loads faster and "responds" faster to inputs... mouse, keyboard.

Bryan

PS: DD, if you're reading this... I set my server up to run like everyone else's last night... ISI has fixed the issues with how things worked and my server no longer has a .bat file to launch it to use only one core of the rented (from NRT) server. If you'd like the logon info for my server shoot me a PM.

I now have all the cars... I think that iSi has out along with Lola and Gordini. Not so sure about how up to date the tracks are.

yupp, that was the longest race I've ever driven. 20 hours straight with Private Brian and co. It was an all night'er. phew :P

Okay, okay... lol... Those are the things that happen when you're in a rush! Glad you all enjoyed the 20 hour marathon race! It's now back to it's "ho hum" 20 minutes.

Bryan

Hey dude - cant race on your server due to that bug where you can always hear the AI no matter where in the track they are. Overwhelmed with non-stop engines. Know of a fix to this? I have seen it before somewhere..

The problem with the sound is a problem with the Lola... I believe. Often times leaving and coming back into the server corrects the problem.

Hope that helps,

Bryan

PS: I'm not sure if wearing pants does or doesn't help or exactly what it would help...

Needs more testing.

The only time I've encountered this is when the "Speaker Configuration" in the "Audio Settings" is set to "Windows Default" rather than the my actual speaker configuration (even though my Windows speaker configuration is the same). But that happens for all cars, not just the Lola I think. I think "Windows Default" is a recommended setting to help raise the volume of the spotter so If you've been trying to find the spotter's voice with that setting, it may have resulted in this unintended consequence.

Get into Zolder people before BB cans it !

Don't listen to this quality BS , it is about the most opposite lock fun I have had in rF2, seriously.

Freaked a sloppy 1:46.4 in Eve and I am no where near consistent atm so 1:45 is on cards.

( Mind you I broke my plastic fanatec shift so I must use the sequential one ) <<< cheat lopl

Like to see some top F3 pilots get in here, seems to suit Eve but I am sure DJC would have something to say about that. lopl ;)

I can't make setups but this seems to work okay, I just took Monza lowered gearing and softened the front a bit I think.
