F1ASR92 by F1 ASR Modding Team (car by car)

They probably haven't set the textures right for lower resolutions. I'm sure they'll see this post and correct them in the next release.

Thank you so much. I love your work. The FW14, what a beast! :) IMO you guys have the best engine sounds in rF2 at the moment.

You can thank Wockesinger/Wolferl for those :) They're almost 5 years old by now :) They were some of the best sounds made in rF1, and that has translated over to the sequel :)

Cheers Wockesinger/Wolferl. Smooth moves :) I just thought i'd let you know I have the same issue with the FW14 as I previously expressed with B192. This time at Portugal. Just on Portugal, so much fun with these cars on the bumps

Does anyone know what might be the cause of this problem?

If I set the car detail level to full, all cars are perfect.

If I set the car detail level to high, medium or low, the Williams texture has a weird error. It's only the Williams though, the rest of the field are fine.

Texture saving problem, i've reuploading car...finished in 30 mins

Many thanks, Sderenno! But problem with the Williams still there (at non-full graphical settings). All other cars are fine!

ok guys, now we release all cars in 1.5 version, then fixed strange bug, we want users have a complete season for online testing

HDR on, graphical settings on middle, 32 bit, Build 798
Win 7 32 bit, Intel Core 2 Quad Q 8300 2.5 GHz, 4 GB RAM, GF GTX 650 1 GB RAM

Has anybody else experienced extreme levels of understeer in these cars when driving in the rain?
Don't know if it's just me?

Yeah I have noticed this at Portugal. What is strange, on my out-lap the car is beautiful to drive however after a lap, once there is some water build up on the track it quickly turns to mass understeer. I have been running with a positive front toe angle on my dry setup for greater turn in. I'm not sure if there is a problem with the tyres or I need to work on my wet setup allot more. I havnt really spent that much time in the wet. Pretty happy with the dry setup though.

Visually the cars are aesthetically pleasing, just lacking some depth to the liveries. The steering wheel texture needs updating to something higher resolution though.

Sderenno, may I ask a technical question?

These cars are based on the ISI Indycar, which has a serious flaw in terms of lack of throttle response (discussed lots elsewhere, so I won't repeat here). Because the throttle is OK in neutral, it must have something to do with a setting that affects the engine when in gear. The Indycar drives as if there is a giant flywheel attached to the engine that prevents rapid rpm change or power application. It is dampened by this flywheel effect, but only when a gear is engaged.

Your cars have corrected this flaw and throttle application while in gear causes a much more expected response (for example, you can hang the tail out in 2nd gear easily on a tight corner). I would say it's not quite as sharp a response as realistic, but that's not the point here. Could you tell what physics adjustments were made related to this issue? If we can know what they are/or it is, then it will also be possible to do a quick mod of the Indycar to make it "normal" while we wait for who knows how long for ISI to fix it.

I feel that the ISI Indycar is extremely well done except for that one major issue. Your fantastic to drive mod cars seem to prove that point (as many have lauded them here so far). Any help or information would be very much appreciated!

And thanks again for such a great mod. It will be great to have a full '92 varied collection eventually.
