    I mean I know who Redline is forever but for some reason I thought it was a new F1 team. loool

    That is great news especially since they also use rF2 as one of their 3 sims. :cool:

    Wow to get a full time F1 driver committed is really something.

    This is really cool stuff. I remember Villeneuve sim races in a league, and Rubens sim races as well, prolly lots of other F1 drivers more or less, but usually they are quite hush hush about their sim racing (maybe it's about product endorsements or something I dont know). Atze must've been bugging Max long enough for him to finally cave in. :p

    I bet there's more real world drivers amongst us but they use a different name/account

    this one being open & public about it is only good for sim racing IMO
    software ( & hardware ) is only getting better and is at a level now where I'd be surprised if most of the real world f1 grid are not heavily involved in these sims during their personal out of season time ( when they don't have access to the teams simulator )

    be interesting to see how Max does

    think the biggest two are :

    formula sim racing ( rf2 )
    pro championship ( iracings own )

    why would they not have access to the teams?

    i think this is a huge deal & is great but as far as its significance goes it strikes me as mostly symbolic. not at all sure he'll become a better F1 driver racing rf2 or iR. i think he wants to help legitimize simracing, which is very cool, & have some (pretty hardcore) fun in the offseason, but i dont read much beyond that.

    Racing on some of the public servers is probably the best way to prepare for racing against the likes of Crashtor Maldonado! :)

    Good to see Darren Marsh holding up the Aussie flag. Raced against Dmarsh plenty in RF1 when he was a member of SRA. Hope he kicks MVS's butt lol

    Well I'm afraid it tells the same as already discussed here, i.e. that rF1 is still one of the main competitors of rF2. In Max' case it's not a question of money or PC equipment either.
