[REL] F1 2013 Single Player v1.61 (DX 11 compatible, visors, rain update)

When i pick up supersoft/soft tire it allways chose medium/hard .... someone knows the problem ?
What exactly do you man? If you mean:
- you choose say soft tyre in the garage and in the race you have another tyre -- no, haven't seen that
- an AI car does not drive with the same tyre as you. Even when you have "fixed and AI drives same setup as you" on -- it is a "shortcoming" of rF2, when the AI choses an allowed, but different to your own tyre. I would call it a "bug" If the AI choses a different tyre and it is also not an allowed tyre for that circuit. I haven't seen the latter.

i mean i can t pick up soft tyre in the garage. if if i set it on supersoft/soft in the tuning option or default doesn t matter.

Are you driving my mod with, or without the tracks? If without the tracks, then normally you should be able to drive all tyre compounds. Or otherwise it depends on the track builder if all tyres are allowed.
If you drive the mod version with the 19 tracks, then the 2013 formula one rules decide which 2 dry tyre compounds are allowed, following the information below:

@Frenky

Hello, I saw on another forum someone complaining that the AI controlled cars flew when riding curbs.

If the player is using the PLR options (that you recommend) to use his own setups, it may be that his setups (perfect for his driving style) are causing the AI car to fly when riding curbs aggressively.

If he has not allowed AI to use his setup, it could be a wrong AI path as you said (may be correct for a GT car), to high curbs, or default values in HDV for bumpers, dampers and ride eight not permitting such an aggressive ride on curbs.

I once messed with the bumper settings in an hdv (used by default setup in RF1 at least) and I saw immediately my error because the AI controlled cars flew at the first curb they rode.

Next week at last I'll be able to try your new version 1.19.

Cheers and thanks for your work.

I had thins problem at Indy. I also had it with ISI cars as well. I trained the AI which solved this issue.

Hello Frenky,

I just tried V1.19, and I really enjoy driving those cars. The combination of the excellent modding by Sompir and your physics makes a great open wheeler mod, my preferred at the moment.

Thanks again.

Anytime man! Have fun racing and I appreciate your feedback!

Hello Frenky,

Tested a little more, I noticed that each car is really different (downforce levels, drag) but also optimum rake, and so really need different setups.

Fine job.

Cheers.

Hello Frenky,

I suppose that you didn't redesign the suspension design of these cars.

In your knowledge is it correct that 3rd spring stiffness (and packer) affects dynamic ride height in curves (that seems to defeat the purpose of this element)?

In this mod it does, and so does it in the OWC 1992 mod (may be in all mods that have one).

Thanks for your help.

Anytime man!
Yes I think it is correct. As far as I know, try to lower the car as much as possible and play a little with the 3rd spring in high speed corners.
Have fun Racing!

No doubt, I am still having fun with the result of your collaboration with SOMPIR, a lot of fun I should say.

Thanks again.
