I personally think that the physics/overall feel of the car are fine as they are, so whoever takes over should only do the basic stuff like aero, engine, etc. And use Postipate's physics as a base.

I agree, the basics of the overall feel is just magnificent, "only" specific tweeking is needed for the other cars.

Looks like a good start. SL1DE, I believe the picture you posted is the FW11B, from 1987. There a subtle differences from the FW11 that Williams used in 1986.

Omg!! You did it !! You did it!!! Yessss!!! Well done!!

Btw, i tried a few days ago to do this car (first time ever i try car modelling), but yours looks so much better!! Do you think that one day you can make a video tutorial on how you make your cars look so good and share technique? Like modelling, detailling, mapping? Even if you videos are hours long, I'll watch I promise!

it's a honor, really, but I think I'm not the right "teacher" for this, better to find a real professional, or look at youtube, they are much better than me

Perhaps then if you could do a timelaps screen record when you make another car, then we can see how you do these. You seem to use such a limited amout of images to create them with. Top and side it seems

Honnestly, your work just proves the contrary: YOU ARE THE RIGHT TEACHER !
Really, if you could just let the camera roll and act as if you weren't being recorded. I've looked on YouTube for tutos, for simple cars it's easy to find, but on more complex F1 cars, the modellers weren't half as good as what you do, really.
And you map very good too.

    So pleaaaaaaase :D please :D:rolleyes:

Also ChiefWiggum, what kind of blueprints do you need ?
The Williams one had all views, but I have some that have top and side view, can you use those too ?

Something like this useful for the Lola Haas?

Also, strange as this may sound, I have a paper model of the Haas. Would ChiefWiggum like this as a reference as well? In case the templates are useful?
