Is there a resource somewhere that describes which cars were sequential shift vs. h-shift?
First F1 to have a sequential box was the Ferrari 640 of 1989

@elbo Funny one... but there was no sequential gearbox in F1 before the early nineties!
P.S.: By the way, and even if I haven't been able to test it... damn stutterings/dx11/fullscreen... huge thank you @Postipate
Site not workingthere is pick up racing tonight - www.premiersimracing .com is the server - 79's at dijon....spread the word - 9 eastern or thereabouts
Im always lurking hereby all means
there are actually lot of "little" things that i love about the mod.
the fact that when driving with right foot braking (heel/toe), the brakes are very efficient, but when left foot braking (while on throttle at the same time) that ~1:1 power/weight ratio eats up the braking power quite a bit.
it makes driving these cars among "left footers" a blast because you will stay relatively competitive still, and the difference in laptimes doesnt get too big between the 2 driving styles. you really nailed the brakes perfectly! kudos for that, seriously!
the shifting delay for sequential shifters versus h-shifter is another thing that i love. I cant express how much i appreciate things like this taken into consideration.
i still seem to loose about 0.1-0.15 seconds in every up shift against most people. but it has more to do with them not lifting properly, than the shifter difference it self.
The front wingless cars have very nice balance with the ground effect and the rear wing. with 4-8 wing i really dont have to adjust the rear much to keep it in check.
the click "size" or steps are pretty nicely in balance with each other at least for that 4-8 wing spectrum. for tire pressure, height, and camber, roughly 1 click each for 2 wing clicks, in same (track) conditions seems to do the job.
that's impressive, it must have taken ages to get it to work in harmony like that?? or was it luck? c'mon you can tell me
but seriously, good job on that aswell.
anyways, i know youre on your vacation, so enjoy and stop reading the forums![]()
Thank you eric!Congrats Posty on a very nice mod that is fun to drive!
I lowered the ride height a bit and it was even more fun to drive!
Great job on the physics and FFB as a lot of mods don't do that well.
Looking forward to further refinement of the little things.
Thank you!
Yeah if i could get money for this I would make cars 24/7I did not have any problems lowering the ride height but I only lowered it by 1/2 cm. I also reduced the packers to 0.5. I could feel the added ground effect (or something...Ha!) but that was only a 8 lap run on hard tyres. This is at Toban 1:28.6...FW07. Usually you get a lot of bump steer in converted mods but this was nice. I need to do more driving and some longer runs but it is most promising. Thank you again for what must be a labor of love for you.
this. there are guys in the industry, that have started by modding. you boys keep it up, and you'll have all the possibilities in the worldHey man you never know. Build up your reputation in the community with your good work and good things could happen. Quality work is hard to find and so many mods are just for show and don't drive worth a damn.![]()
me too have zero problems so far with lower ride height on the tracks that have been on the official server.Have you got any problems while using lower ride height?
Site not working
what do you mean ?- thats the server we were on - no get mod working unfortunately the cars are too big
In real life they had around 0-7 seconds differences with the lap times on quali, so there is huge caps on laps in reality too.what do you mean ?- thats the server we were on - no get mod working unfortunately the cars are too big
we had a couple issues - mostly guys in the williams are too fast , some cars just cant keep up- we had 9 drivers in variuos cars
we did modern dijon this week , next week tba
we will be at it for a few weeks - a good test
if you can join us next week on discord we could chat about it - we have a few questions among our drivers -
