You maybe found it but Brabham nr7 (i think) has no TUNING FFB setting. It was the first of the 2 Brabhams. The second one has FFB setting. With my DFGT there is a bit more FFB deadzone compared to ISI Brabham, and the cars might be a little too grippy? Its easier to break traction in the rear when coasting and steering compared to the F1 1975 mod where they have more grip. Of course i dont know which is the correct one as i never driven these cars in real life. Great mod and with a little tweaking will be even better.
I drove the Lotus and the McLaren tonight, with a friend online. One thing that jumped out immediately was the brake bias, they seem very far forward by about 7-9% on average compared to what I've seen elsewhere. With the gearing, there's quite a bit of a kick even with manual footwork but that's already mentioned. Some interesting values on camber - observation not feedback - with some having the rear at nearly -2º and the front at barely over 1º.
Hello and thanks for feedback I had same feeling about that braking and I already fixed it for next release. Brakes dont also lockup so easily anymore. That kick you mentioned is also fixed, but same time I have feeling that AI is now 0.5-1 sec slower than it used to be compared to my lap times. Need to experiment with that little bit. There is very intresting values and I will fix them, but not high on my priority list I will release next build when I get rest of the tire files. Chiefwiggum already release them with automobilista conversion, but I have strange problems to open them. Got some (crypted) message. We are already fixing this. I twisted my left angle two nights ago, so I have to try to drive without clutch for while. Still can't walk! Ouch.. :/
I agree with the observation by Guimengo, been testing myself, noticed camber is off a bit front and rear, other than that the only things I see need changing are Chiefwiggums tires, tweaking the chassis lurching upward in cockpit view upon acceleration, and the AI which you are looking at.
Ouch, ankle injuries suck. Was it a regular twist or actually a sprain? Got plenty of experience from soccer, volleyball, and basketball. Whichever it is, regularly wrap it with an ice bag for 20 minutes and keep it raised .
Yeah my gf keep reminding of me doing it I was dancing at night club when some 2m dude decided to step on my angle. So not that regular way I have no idea how bad this is, but tomorrow i go to doctor. Btw. Solved those ai issues/braking/chassis movement/reduced that "kick" effect Thanks for feedback guys. Edit: Might release LE version at same time.
Thanks for noticing! Most likely some other cars have same issues. Will fix this. 6 cars are now updated. Rest of the cars will be updated this week.
Looks promising. Maybe you could consider to upload the next version of the mod to Steam workshop? That would make updating for you and the players alot easier and you won't have to deal with version interferences.
