What happened to these fixes? They don't seem to have fed back into the Steam files. I tried these cars (Historic Edition) again the other day and the P34 wouldn't load and the steering wheel was doing its thing o_O in the other Tyrrell I tried.

    Ah!
There are also two League Editions in Steam adding to my confusion: Formula 1975 League Edition (NOT WORKING WITH LATEST UPDATES) and Simracers F1 1975 LE

Also Formula 1975 Historic Edition (NOT WORKING WITH LATEST UPDATES)

Lotus 77, possibly a pre-season variant, since the front of the cockpit looks different in Brazil.[IMG]

Researching found this 77' design debuted end 75' early 76' pre-season, variants tested, cockpit changed, brakes/front suspension changed, cool looking design.

I can't believe anyone thought those exposed inboard front brakes were a good idea o_O They must have locked the aerodynamicist in a shed!

Might have been the case. On the othere hand, you get the weight more towards the centre of the car, wich isn't bad either. All in all some very interesting concepts.

Inboard brakes are a good idea, but I would have thought they'd be fared in like the previous 76

These late 75' early 76' Lotus's would be fine to have in rF2, but...what exactly is the differences between these 75' F1 mods ??, there are 3 or more HE/LE versions by various

    One for German league
    One for leagues
    Historic for offline use

Most likely we will delete all these and release new mod in future. Stay tuned!

The Lotus 77 was designed in such a way as to have a multiplicity of adjustment options. Many of the front brake components and fitment were common to the rear. Chapman had felt that Lotus had lost its way with the Lotus 76 and needed to go back to determining the critical parameters in F1 design of the period. Tony Southgate, coming from some success with Eagle and BRM(P153- P160) was brought in to update the chassis through mid season as the adjustability did not serve overall performance. The front suspension was completely redesigned with outboard brakes and front rocker arms amongst other changes. It did generate a win in Japan at the end of the season, which was somewhat overshadowed by the Lauda/Hunt world championship rivalry. The Lotus 77 was however the precursor of the Lotus 78 and its ground effect technology.
