Got plenty of time, it's just the know-how that's missing.
Realigning the origin point doesn't sound too complicated though. If it's something that can be done with Blender or something, I guess I could chip away at it on my free time.

Edit: As it happens, it isn't as simple as I'd hoped. Still, 19 more days of 3DSimEd remaining, will have to experiment.

Edit2: I can get it pretty close, but not perfect and I don't have the experience to know why. The steering column poking through the wheel is something that just kinda happened without explanation. Also unsure why there's a BT44SW_OUT.gmt and SW_OUT.gmt. They seem to be the same thing.

Brabham was the first car on the list so it took a while to realize it's the odd one out. The rest took a few hours to get sorted. Still a bit wonky; some wheels rotate roughly from where it looks to be connected to the steering column, some from the actual geometric centre of the wheel. You'd think those would be the same thing, which is why I opted for the latter most of the time.

Couldn't do anything about how wonky most cars' steering wheels look in external views, but as far as I can tell that's how it's always been and so far nobody's looked close enough to notice.

Edit: Since there's going to be an update, might as well mention that the Embassy Hill cars still have very non-DX11 wings on them.

 

I wonder what all the people saying wonderfull things with mclaren m23 from s397 thinks about the m23 of this mod
Personally, and with little playing time with both but almost nothing with the new one, i found this one here better

I'm getting the same error too.

Same error here too. If you press enter on these errors it eventually loads up, but the Lotus cars are not there. If you look in the garage you only see the front wheels, no front wing or cockpit.
