Then i created basic AI with realistic F1 1968 performance. It works offline and online too. I love these skins, they got me back into the Eve F1 car. I used to hate it and think it was uncontrollable, but now I love these cars, and the skins + drivers makes the feel more complete. It's been so long since I had driven the Eve cars, like over a year for sure. They must've updated and fixed the physics in that long period of time.
I'll put together a list of teams which are missing. Not including teams which only took part in one round, these are teams/drivers which took part in the majority of rounds. Cooper (as Mauro mentioned above) Matra - Jean-Pierre Beltoise (yes, Matra is in the carset, but Beltoise is missing) Reg Parnell Racing - Piers Courage Charles Vögele Racing - Silvio Moser I feel like Piers Courage is a must though. I could get to work on it if I find the template, it looks like a fairly simple livery, just colour and a number. Is it the one titled "Historic Challenge Eve MS10"? Edit: Problem with the numbering system, 20 and 22 are taken because Jo Siffert and Richard Attwood used them at other Grands Prix, so I guess I'll have to go with 27 which Courage used at Monza.
Here's my attempt at Piers Courage's car. Based on the Monza livery because 27 was the only number he used which was available (would be weird having two number 20's or 22's) Helmet quality is less than I would've liked, but I couldn't find a template for the historic helmet and the layout is weird. Gotta make an inverted circle for a simple straight line on the top. Extract into UserData/Settings/Historic Challenge_EVE_1968 just like before. Download attachment below. (Download removed, updated version in my next post)
Thanks, glad you think it's good enough to make the cut. I think I need to make the number on the side a bit bigger, do you mind waiting until I update it later today? Edit: Ok, decided to work on it right away since I found some spare time. Looks a lot better now. Made the font size larger, and also reduced the thickness of the text. Something about an all plain black car with a red/orangey colour nose, simple yet a beautiful combination. Download - v v v
