To get the horizon aligned properly to my eyes in my rig i need to change the camera tilt with about 5 cm.
For now i still use the, [camera slow move] followed by [camera tilt - up].
But i have to re-do that every time i enter the car. On top of that the camera goes all directions as soon as you touch your mouse.
Many triplescreen rigs just can't get the monitor low enough to have the fixed horizon height properly aligned with your eye sight. iRacing and AC have the option to change the camera height (not the chair) to align the horizon properly. It makes such a difference, when it's correct, your brain perceives a much better 3D image.
Now it looks like rFactor 1-2 the horizon angles are made for desktop racing.
For a big rig you need to be able to alter that and not have to set it over and over again.

    I agree.
I would add that all camera movements should be unlocked and not mod related.
If someone wants to drive from back seat let him. We all have different FOVs and preferences.
I am playing with FOV 17 (correct FOV for my laptop) and in most cars I can't see the whole wheel let alone rest of the interior. And I am not able to move camera backwards enough because of strange limitations.

Have you tried the increase / decrease pitch (found in seat controls) with seat up / down.
You can move horizon up and down monitor, I just tried it.

That is what I use aswell I guess (Shift+FOV). Thats what I use exactly. It also shows the amount of degrees you changed up or down and saves this value for all cars.

I know about pitch but what do you mean about horizon? There was move camera up/down option in free view only iirc.

Pitch 'moves' the horizon. Moving the camera up/down doesn't move the horizon. The pitch (Shift+FOV) should do the job.

I agree as my wheel is clamped to a computer desk.
The mounting assembly is one piece and allows no adjustments so the wheel is tilted forward when installed.
I use the pitch as well but it isn't enough to get everything lined up.
I could use a 1x4 piece of wood and modify the mounting point on the desk, I just really don't want to start hammering or putting holes in it.

You can move the seat, change fov and pitch the camera. Not sure what else you would need
