Is anyone else having issues with the resolution when connecting a laptop into an external monitor to play rf2? the resolution is way too big and in the menus some of the menu items dont show because of the size and you cant mouse click on anything because the mouse cursor points at one setting but a setting somewhere else is highlighted. Anyone know how to fix this?

Is the Resolution of the external Monitor set to the same Resolution that the Laptop Display has and that is set in rFactor 2?
If that is the Case, you normally should not have that Problem.
 
Im not sure about the monitor resolution, all i did was start rf2 on my laptop then when its ready to go i plug the external monitor in. I assure the resolution is the same. Ill check that when i have time. Thanks.

That sounds as if you plug the external Monitor when rFactor 2 is running already.
If that is the Case, plug it before you start rFactor 2.
Maybe that solves the Problem already.
 
Hi, I'm a laptop user. Maybe you're duplicating screens? Try pressing windows key (the key with the windows logo) + P and then select "use second screen" or whatever says.
 
Yes jEmilio your right and setting the resolution of the external monitor to match the resolution of rf2 fixed the issue. Thanks for your responses.
