Before in rFactor a new menu system called FFB Menu was created to list all the extra controller.ini options ISI had left out of the menu's.

Why can't ISI do this for rF2. Before people complained about the high strength of FFB over rumble strips and the answer was to edit the controller file. Surely the better more user friendly method is to create a new FFB page in game so that the user can edit this in game rather than search through all the files. This is the same with graphics options such as Headlights on Cars and Cockpit Vibration Multipliers should all be under an Advanced / More Graphic Options Tab within the current menu system.

Next is in Multiplayer you cannot see server settings any more. In rF1 we had a Race Settings Tab like Below

Why can we not have this but also see extras like how long practice, qualifying, warmup and race would be. Nothing more annoying to sit in a server with other people, do 30 minutes of practice to then find out it has 1 hour of qualifying and then a 5 lap race!

Another multilayer option is to show the weather forecast properly like when we set it ourselves in Single Player not like GTR2 has it with the 1 line predicted forecast. Most people before a race weekend check weather forecasting for the local area days in advance to know what it will be like. Circuits even publish weather forecasts on the day of the meeting so rF2 not showing the weather forecasting for its virtual race weekend is a step backwards really.

Complete agreement with you there Sam.
The GUI is seriously lacking regarding usability/functionality.
I cannot understand ISI's attitude towards game configuration, forcing us to edit files, then replacing/changing said files when updating?
    How does that make sense?
Also we really (DESPERATELY) need a iRacing style menu for screen setup at least please!

rF2 could go one step further and add setup explanation to the garages, which way to change the settings and the effects. Click on the question mark against each setup option and get a nice brief explanation on how you could change the car.

Something we've been asking iRacing to do as well as setup notes and pre determined pit options for a long time!
