Nice! Now just some proper remodeled lights and rims and maybe a little work on the window frames and the old lady will be pretty again :D

I hoped for this, but I didn't expect it. It's great to see that you are improving the 3D too: the original models clearly show their age, so a bit of smoothing here and there will already improve their visual quality. :)

Really looking forward to this. I am not a car modder, but will gladly map correct class mappings for this in the Crew Chief.
One minor ask I have, I hope that "self in rearview":"*" feature gets attention in this mod. If you are curious to see what rF2 is capable of in that regard, check out "Stock Car Resurrection" mod on the workshop. Best of luck with this effort!

Very excited for this mod! I always had a soft spot for 2000s touring cars and it's about time we could race them in a modern sim.

Question- What is the FFB on the FWD cars going to be like? I myself hope they won't be like the NGTC Civic where it just feels unnatural in my personal opinion (although I haven't driven one my self of course so I'm unsure on that)
I'm hoping something more along the lines of the WTCC mod on the workshop, although i guess it's your choice what you make it like.

from my experience of converting rF1 fwd cars to rF2, and use so call "new" steering system by using Chris' online tool to convert, it would be similar to WTCR and yep WTCC (even WTCC17's physic and ffb not so good, but turn down a bit may feel better).
I looked in the CIVIC's hdv with the help of my friend and discover that it use the "old" rF1 steering code in hdv, so maybe the reason is it. And also from I chat with Tommy78 with his WTCR FFB before, the new system did reduce a lot of torque steering from my comparison.
But I still need to say torque steering is the real world physic effect, but it can and most be reduced by power steering, so there's some feeling but depend on the car's power steering to decide how much you can feel it.

PS: above is my personal opinion, might be not so correct, feel free to correct me.
