    Maybe this goes without saying, but I sure hope to see the names of all these contributors in the load screen...and in big letters.

    I understand it's migrated from the original, but how feasible is it to darken the asphalt?

    Doesn't look like Essington with dark surface. Light surface is better and better matches environment and feeling of the track IMO, like the yellow "bug" lights. Essington is an amazing layout but it's character and charm are important too. I vote two thumbs way down on dark surface.

    Essington has perfectly kept grass, kerbs, and asphalt but the walls and other building details show plenty of natural wear and tear, corrosion, perhaps from rain. You raised an interesting point there, John. Anyway, personally the darker asphalt would go more in tune with actual tracks, but Essington would still rock with perfectly kept asphalt or not.
