@Tuttle Need some help. Been trying to make the wipers and new rain drop effects. I have followed the tutorial multiple times on 3 different cars all with the same error in the heading .
There are 2 wipers on the windshield. Each wiper has 2 bones (set the same in the tut) and the root bone a 0.0.0 The wipers are skinned and animation looks good at 21 frames in max.
I export the way the tut says. With fix bones names ticked
Try loading in dev to set up the drops with the wiper and I get the error "not enough bones"
This is my first wiper but Ive done many animations before (flags, banners, tents, drivers, rotating billboard) and never got this error.
Any idea what Im doing wrong?

Do you select the bones and the mesh when exporting?

Yes I select ALL bones and the mesh when exporting. I have also tried exporting with just the mesh. (I get a bigger .anm file that way)

What did you select as "Root Node" under the animation exporter settings? From the tutorial i thought you had to select the root bone but you have to select the wiper.gmt

Root node is the mesh, not the bone. You also need to assign the animation to the mesh in the exporter.
