    In our league, we're using a turbo engine F1 car and can confirm that the 2nd boosteffects value still does nothing.

    Good news :)

    And yeah, a turbo can result in more fuel use... but until we get engine modes it's a poor substitute. I like ISI's realistic approach but sheesh... let us fudge some figures occasionally lol

    Yes, that's great news, but now I have to edit the engine file, because I don't want the fuel consumption to change in the middle of the F1 season ;)

    *tsk tsk* that's a bit sloppy... (he said, after checking his own mod and finding that *whew* he did change the boosteffects to 0 after finding they didn't work... :p)

    More than one year later, it seems, nothing is fixed? Any chance to see one day the second parameter (fuel increase per setting) working?

    //Edit: it seems, that the parameter for the fule usage, is affecting the oil and water temp? I tried a couple of diff. values. The higher the number, the higher the oil and water temps. And the fuel usage wasn`t affected...

    Build 998 had this. Your higher oil temp will be because more fuel is being burned.

    Have you tried extreme values? Like 100.

    I'm confident it's working because soon after it was introduced in 998 I modified our league mod to use it, and tested that it worked. But I have to say I haven't been using it for the last 6 months or so, since the fuel mixture adjustment was added, as I've been using that instead. It seems unlikely the boost fuel adjustment would have broken since then, but you never know.

    Was beginning to doubt myself, so just loaded the Skip Barber up in Devmode, adjusted the boost lines to these values:
    EngineBoostRange=(0, 1, 2)
    EngineBoostSetting=0
    BoostEffects=(0.0, 10000.0, 0.02)

    And when I put Boost on 2 in the car (sitting at idle in the garage) I killed the engine in about 3 seconds, burning 10L of fuel in the process. If you aren't able to replicate that then something is somehow wrong.

    Thanks again for your reply, Lazza. I`m not at home at the moment. When i`m back home, i`ll try this, too.

    //Edit: same with the Skip files, i guess, i must install DevMode new...

    //Edit: in short: DevMode new installed, it`s working now.Thanks Lazza!

    Could that be, that the AI are not affected of the boost "penalty" settings? It seems, that they using the boost power, but dont get affected of increased fuel usage and consequently a higher engine temp?
