SOLVED Engine Blowing up by contact

1. Make sure you have a damage file in the mod. If it's missing a cone will break your engine.
2. Increase the engine impulse value in the damage file. Upwards of 10000 is about ballpark.
 
I do have a damage file and impulse value is the same as the rest of the cars maybe it's the cone that's missing because the cars that have that problem use the same engine file. Could you maybe elaborate on the cone part?

Sorry, I meant without a damage file hitting a cone on track will break your engine. Impulse = 0.

Are you sure the damage file is referenced correctly and included in the rfcmp?
