I'll agree with this, especially because the said cars have retired. So I'd rather have the new ones, unless they are then moved to a "historic" content (hi iRacing) pack.
But I guess you wont do new GTE as S397 have licensed them?

I prefer that URD CONSOLIDATE and complete these mods, rather than restart on something else.

how long do you think your mods are obsolete and do not need MAJ? the PX mod is 5 years old?

 

the mods have been completed (except PX) and updated beyond the point, IMO. The game evolved, the cars retired, time went by, move on.

- Yes, apart from PX, the mods are I believe are in version V1.
URD has no real obligation.
That's why I propose, if it is possible, to pay an honest price for an update including : last technologies of physics (and last tires) + rain + DX11.

These cars are not obsolete :

There is a base physics + sound + cockpit graphics very honorable.

And why would the series be obsolete?
Do not play with AC Cobra anymore !!

 

There is a difference between classics/legends and a group of cars that just retired.

 

a graphic maj would be the least of things at least for the PX and the shiro gt500

 

Basically 3/4 of stock rF2 content then...

Please make it a priority to keep us up to date on developments where possible as communication has been my only real issue. I understand the reasons why the PX mod has taken this long to make progress; you can't add elements that don't currently exist in rF2 (but exist in AC).

While DX 11 updates to the EGT and T5 mods would be welcome, I understand why you may not select to do so. The ASR mod I bought based on the recommendation of the forum, the ASR3, hasn't been updated since April of 2016.

 

I think, by the measure of the number of responses here just to one tweet, you can imagine a-lot of us are looking forward to various packages seeing completion. I seem to remember an image of a WIP TS030, That would be grand. I also thought the P2's from URD & EnduroRacers were going to be merged so we'd have both the Ligier & Oreca. Other items would be the updated tire, but you may find that to be quite a challenge, and at some point rain wipers are going to have to be addressed. Best of luck.

 

This was my point to you earlier. Think about these cars as "Recent Historics". There is value in driving them as they are representative of the time they were raced. Just because it is recent history doesn't stop them from being interesting IMHO. Seems like some others think that too. We will get recent stuff from other mod teams even if URD does not do it. I would love to see these updated to current sim-spec. I can use other mods (or forthcoming S397 content) for recent stuff (which will be old a year or two after release!)

 

Good for you bro I think invesitng time on them would be a waste, need to move on, current gen GTE is going for its 3rd season already and DPi for 2nd I need them in game seems like others think that too (since we can both speak for others lol)

 

I think that a maj dx11 is possible at the same time as working on new models

 

Wonder if it's possible to have the leds working properly in rF2 pretty cook in the Mazda cockpit

 

Directly not possible with current led animation system but if i would trick than maybe.

 

Any chance we could get a sneak peak of these PXi cars?

 

We will have high quality LMPs in less than 1 month, made by S397, while we paid the PX mod there is very very long already.

All this is not very serious.
A big delay + communication can be understood, but it is anything ...

 

was there a time frame for the Oreca 7? I'll have to go back and check this out.

I guess the URD PXi pack and rest of GTE cars (if they are making it) S397 wont license will be probably released around the same date, we can only hope
