impressive

 

Ran a few laps at Sao Paolo.
Revolution is a beautiful car (if nowadays LMP can be defined so), runs fine and is a match for SimHQ P919 and Acura. Noticed that engine overheats at all but max radiator setting (is it done on purpose?).

I am afraid that this engine needs a further look. There is a mismatch between water and oil temps. After 5 laps with radiator set at 2, you get water temp of 40 º and oil temps in the low 90º.

Yes, i did quick fix only to prevent overheating so you ca use the car now. Will be more adjusted.

yes i did, it was than that before i fixed it allready. Not sure thought if its that bad now. Drives good overall.

ingame when you chose car it at the car name it says what version it is-0.83 and the rar package is called V01a

For all, the rar package number is for the whole package and that one will allways be smaller as the car versions.

 

So is mine, but mine is version 0.83 in game. Check in the game and see what number it gives you

I just bought it and ran some laps with the LMP1. First, the model is very nicely done. Same quality as the GT cars these guys put out-- which is high. I would like to see the rev counter lights a bit brighter-- if that is possible to do it would be great.

Handling-- again, same high quality. On cold tires I was struggling a bit-- but in a good way. These things have a ton of torque, right? I actually appreciated the lack of grip as I find the GT car versions a little too stuck down at default settings. As the tires warmed up and grip on track increased (I started on a track with some rubber down-- not a green track, btw) it started to feel like I would imagine an LMP1 car might. Lots of grip but you can break it loose if overzealous.

If you like sportscar racing then this is mostly a no-brainer purchase. Great multi-class possibilities. I had lots of fun lapping with AI powered GT cars-- catching and figuring out the best way past was very entertaining. I am hoping for the historic "darche" liveries they used at LeMans this year in a future update.

One thing I am not sure about ... what is the PX2 supposed to be? An LMP2 car but with the same design as the LMP1? Will the model change at some point?

 

PX hast different front allready, Marc is doing even more updates to it, check the post #212 above with new updates. And yes, Rebellion and Oreca 05 use allmost same design.

 

Just bought and tested it. It looks really good, physics feel better than EGT too.
