[REL] EnduranceRacingX EGT by URD Update V2 July 2016!

Hi, try adding more rear wing(atleast 5+) at rear and move brakes to front. Take it slowly, tires need some time to.

 

Does this mean that the default setup is somewhat wrong? I don't have a lot of spare time so I'd rather drive than have to mess about with setups.

Yeah let's make default setup perfect for all tracks, so the guys that don't have any spare time can drive the car straight out from the garage without slightest changes to setup! lol

Move brakes to front and add little wing is the first thing I would change if I experienced that, and it only take a few seconds.

 

No, ive setuped the car, in last version ive just edited rear wing settings and default has it less than before so to balance the car its more open there and some like it this way, some other way. Brakes are diferent, some use ABS, some dont and than again the pedals are diferent so as pressure people use. Usually this changes can make diferente by alot allready but this are things that are hard to do by default for all.

Once all cars are done ill gather some setups and add them to first post as download option.

Thank's Ales, the additional downforce from the rear wing (25deg now) does the job. Couldn't imagine that changes of the wing on a non formula car, would have such an impact on balance. But this car has really an huge wing.
Really fun to drive now.

Btw guys, should i do light as default on? Like day lights?

 

I would like that, because its obligatory in todays endurance races.

 

I'd say no because of system performance. It's easy to map a button for headlights, my motto is to build the support for everything but always let the user decide what to use.

 

Where can I map a button to force the ai to use headlights?!

 

Shouldnt take any performance actually. That are basicly few polys and small texture.

I've driven these great cars at pleclair's great nordschleife today and I agree with Hedlund_90. The high pitch transmission sounds are disturbing because of the very noticeable repeating samples. First thing I noticed. Listen to these surprisingly similar cars, there's no repeating sound:
