Omg I better get downloading!!
I've been racing this car/track combo for the last two hours, with 29 AI in changeable conditions. AMAZING! rF2 comes alive once again.
Thanks Ales. Is it me or is the Darche a bit shaky in the cockpit like old DTM mod. Seems to vibrate a lot more than the first Darche
Nice job so far ... many thanks!
But i really wish that this monster rear mirror would be corrected! Sorry, but this damn thing is much more irritating than usefull in any way.
Feels more like sitting in a fitting room instead of a cockpit.
100% agree with that. Would like to see realistic cockpits
Its real one actually

Only decent pix I could find, the mirror does look quite large, maybe the angle of picture makes it look a bit smaller
That is pre race version, was changed later. I have those to an few of them. We had this mirror before.
Check this one http://www.bmwblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013-sebring-12-hours-BMW-14.jpg
Thank you for this new release. Bayro Cockpit looks great in 3D !
Can't open in big size
Awesome mod so far
New Version feels great. I do have some braking issues with the Merlin though, have to turn the brake balance to 68:32 until the front wheels lock before the rears under hard braking.
The Darche has a very low wing setting as default, on purpose? I couldn't complete a lap without spinning out with the default setup.
Bayro has alot of power understeer with the default setup, but can be cured with fitting harder springs to the rear.
Overall it feels pretty solid, good range of options for setting up the suspension to fit the car to different driving styles.
Yes, and the cockpit itself locks good.
Even so in real life the mirror is small and high enough to not bothering the drivers view.
Check the link ive added on reply and there you can see big mirror wich was used since first race, this small mirror is gone actually.
I guess i could add it as upgrade so you can change it what suits you more.
I stand corrected. I was looking at an early cockpit photo. I should have known better that to think you wouldn't research that. LOL
I have done about 40 laps today at Mid Ohio and I have to say the cars are better than I first thought. I have to tweak them a bit to get them to my liking but that is part of it.
Hehe, allways doing my homework here but ill add those old mirrors as update. Ive found out that later in season even exterior mirrors were changed.
Am I the only one who has quite a big input lag while steering (only tested with the Bayro because the other cars don't have steering wheels yet^^)?
Furthermore I think the FOV in the cockpit is too low, you don't really get a feeling for the car because it's like it's zoomed in. Also the sense/feeling of speed gets lost, it doesn't look like your driving fast.
With the T5 mod it was the same so increasing the FOV from (89,45) to (89,55) gave me a much better feeling when using the cockpit view.
