[REL] EnduranceRacingX EGT by URD Update V2 July 2016!

hello ales

what are you going to do regarding grip for the gT cars, I and many others feel that they have more grip than say an isi counterpart. Would the new contact patch bring us this better realism or is this something you will update. and maybe in the dtm cars too.

or is this something that you feel doesn't need altering ales?

great workl

dan :)

As the real DTM Cars have tons of grip too, there is no change needed. About the GT`s, hm, i guess, they could have a little bit more grip :D

At the beginning, I was one of those guys who thought that these cars had too much grip...

After talking with some other people in this thread, I came to the conclusion that I wasn't fast enough.... Changed the setup, began to be faster, and believe me, the cars now give a hell of a fight just to stay on track after I found a good qualifying setup!

The default setup is too much balanced towards underseering. Try increasing alot of front downforce and you'll notice the differences!

could you give an example setup?

i have managed to make the cars loose but not fast (my fast, which is slow, but they wouldnt be fast w/ anyone...if that makes sense).

a year or so ago when i got these cars i complained they felt too stuck on rails but a lot of ppl defended them saying similar. but i feel like it starts w/ the tires, URD seems to use 'better' (more durable, grippier) tires. put these cars on ISI tires & i tihnk there would be a big difference. could be very wrong there but thats been my impression.

Hi again Ales...

I don't know if someone ask what I will question you... Maybe is a noob question...²

You guys have any plans to make the GT Daytona Class?

Regards ;)

To what ISI car do you compare it? The vette is only one but their version is older, even with smaller front wheels. There will be new tires but i dont think we will take the grip away.

But can we expect more equal tire wear? The current cars tend to eat the front tires and barely use the rears even with setup adjustments.

The tyre wear is compareable between Front and rear. It is only a setup thing. Front and rear spring stiffness on a same Level, Splitter 4 and wing 18-22 or 3-12(Le Mans) depending of the track, a Bit more rear anti - roll bar and there is No more understeer, so i can drive 90 Minutes or longer on one tyre Set if nessesary with well balanced tyre degradation
