Bought the EGT cars today and have been enjoying the Darche. Ran a ten lap race at Spa with sprint tires and the right front wore to yellow after three laps. Ran another race with endurance tires and they wore the same. I did notice the endurance tires weren't as grippy as the sprint tires but shouldn't the endurance tires last longer?

All the cars are fantastic and well worth the $12 I paid. Keep up the great work.

I found the same thing happening to my front tires when I first started racing this mod. I think the default setup is extremely understeery, but with a little fixing I dialed it out so the tires now wear equally. Such a great mod for sure. :)

Also, not driving as hard in to corners helps.

Also the sprint and endurance tires are EXACTLY the same.

If you take a Look Into the tire files, you will see, that the endurance tires are nearly the same thing like the Sprint tires. Only one entry was changed and that is Not the degradation

Yeah, one needs to utilize a very particular driving style to wear the front and back equally. It's a heck of a lot of fun! And extremely educational. I drive these cars quite differently to most other cars.

In the last endurance race that I did, the endurance tires lasted about 55min, @ Sebring! I don't know if it is realistic as in the real life endurance races.

Did I feel good that the different cars behave differently?

If you wouldn't mind helping the ignorant....where is or what is the tire file? Only files I can find are the .mas ones and I downloaded the rFactor tools and tried to open one with mas.exe and got nothing to look at. Thanks

Only 55 minutes? I got them to last 75 in a league race. :p Granted the tires were TOAST on the Viper by the end of the race. IIRC, most of the GT racing I have watched the average stint is anywhere from 45 minutes to just under an hour. Time seems right, and they usually change tires at the stops.

I've gotten to 60 minutes in a league race with 57% left. I won too :D

Loll....I know I'm a bit aggressive one the front tires, but yea 55 min' is a fair stint time.

    Hi Ales.

As an owner of all your cars for rf2 and also the VEC mod with LMP1/2, and after the announcement of the build 880, I would know if all your mods will be updated to work with the new tyre model.

As you know, it needs an update of all the cars made before 880 to make effect the new tyre model.

Thanks for your great job, mate!

Yes, they will be. We aim to add chassis flex, new tire model, light flares and few other fixes.
