Hi Ales, I'm happy far these good news

We are setting up the autumn champ with these cars, I'vve two questions for you:)

    1. Do you have aleady planned when release the next update?
    2. Can we have the technical datas of these cars, many users are asking for in order to choose the car for the championship.

    Have a nice holiday.

I can tell you right now that all cars are having the same power curve and the Darche has the tank simulated completely on the front axle.

What do you mean, the same power curve?

I think the performance charakteristic, but i think the cars should have a different one with advantages oder disadvantages in different rpm levels otherwise it would be boring

I'm not one to brag about any sort of technical insight into cars, at all.
But having a look at the URD cars in Car Stat 2, it seems the cars do have pretty differing power curves?

Please correct me, again, I'm completely green when it comes to technical car stuff lol.
I'd love to learn some more though. ;)

The Cars are reaching nearly the same top speed with the same aero settings, excect the Venom and the Corvette, they are a bit slower, but you can adjust it with the wing setting without lossing important aero.
The acceleration is nearly the same, ok the torque is different but it has to be so, because one reaches the limit @5200rpm, the next, @9000 and that is what it makes interessting. One car needs lower are rpm, the other has more power near the rpm limit.

At which rpm the torque has a certain value doesn't matter, if the power curve is the same (well normalized to the same rpm range). So it all comes down to differences in the sound which is played.

I guess I will show some motec charts to show you what I mean.

Summer, holidays and no answer to my question, so I'll burn my 5 euros on beer. No regrets.

May be it's your wording that is incorrect, but in my books the definition of power is torque x by rpm. So a motor delivering 450 N/m at 5000 rpm will develop half the power of another one delivering the same torque at 10000 rpm.

Please someone correct me if I am wrong.

Just wanted to say we ran our first race with these cars at LeMans last night, and I heard nothing but very happy customers. Thanks to the URD Crew for putting out such a great bunch of cars. Keep it up .... please!!!

Yes. I meant the same. It doesn't matter if you 500bhp at 5000 rpm and 10000rpm. As long as the power curve uses another rpm-scale to have the power at the other rpm.
