Name the banner and back wing the same as the body .DDS... EG

If the body .DDS is named EG_alt.DDS then the back wing would be EG_altwing.DDS and the banner would be EG_altban.DDS...

There may be a problem with the back wing though, I`m not sure. I know there`s a bug with one of the cars files but can`t remember which one now...

 

Btw, there`s a skinning thread here with lots of info etc, it is a big thread but might be more appropriate for skinning questions.

 

Thanks tjc. I had actually done this, but between your comment getting me thinking about file names and finding a missed letter in one file name , I have it working now. Thanks again.

The red Ferrucio body reflection is beautiful. Bt its not the same compared to the black Bayro. Anyway to fix it?

 

Ahh yes, the Ferruccio.

 

How do you mean it`s not the same?

Bayros n few other cars body reflection is almost matte. Will provide screenies later

Hm...can`t see matte

Maybe you are using 100% black (#000000)? If yes, maybe this is the problem

 

the black bayro is matt, because of the alpha layer. it is like the BMW in USCC, which is also black matt.

 

Here are 2 screnies taken at the same location. notice some are reflected in the Feruccio but not on the Bayro rite?




seems like the black reflection doesnt reflect blue color well.

The creator of the alpha for the black Bayro was a bit lazy. It's ok that the black parts have no reflection but the colored parts are not matt and should have reflection (brighter alpha).

I bought the eGT pack yesterday and installed sucessfully. Only problem at the showroom some skins aren't showned...Can anyone help?

Hi, you have to click the variant arrow below the showroom.

In the car selection screen pick a car then click on Tuning. In the next screen look on the bottom right for the arrows.

 

I've done that, in the tunning screen i can see the car, and if i click the variant arrow doesn't change anything. When i return to car selection still the same, so image of the skin..
