[REL] EnduranceRacingX EGT by URD Update V2 July 2016!

we (5 - 7 driver) was online on "IronRaceOnline" until the server was suddenly offline.
Mmartin told me yesterday in the serverchat that for monday is a race plannend.

Yes yesterday all was fine until the server crash... (after few minutes it was online again) never happened before... (some times my client and also othre drivers crash... I don't know if it's related to the EGT mod)
Alpha-bravop the race is on monday 23 june

Bought this some time ago(already newest version) and just wonder that how we get updates when they come? URD just send us links or something similar?

One thing is for sure, sprint tires are made for just a few hot laps, they go away VERY quickly, haha. i did a 6 or 8 lap race with sprints, and after about 4 laps, I was getting massive understeer. So when you make a race setup, make sure to use the endurance tires.

 

At Le Mans, the P2 cars running 75 litre tanks are doing 11 lap stints.

 

11 laps of Le Mans are worth 33 laps elsewhere.

 

At Le Mans in RL LMP1 cars doing 13 laps on a full tank (capacities in RL are 66.9L for petrol / 54.8L for diesel)

 

The Porsche 919 even managed to do 14.

 

Why were all the class names changed to EGT in this update? It's no longer possible to find out which car was used for a given lap time when uploading to rF2 Rank. Can's you use the DisplayClassOverride to change the car class name on the monitor screen?

Hey guys! As I was watching LM24H this weekend I personally found, that the 991RSR sounds pretty different to the Darche. I know they aren't the same but would be fine to know if some soundupdates are planned anytime soon. Else I love that mod

 

You're kidding, right? The Darche sounds are probably the best sounds in this mod.
I suppose you haven't driven the Darche for more than a few laps, have you?

I gave them a shot again yesterday and i must say....sorry, i was wrong. With min. setup changes i got nearly the same laptimes with all cars. But the Darche is with stock setup faster than the others. Maybe there is a little requirement for more balancing with the Darche.

 

I had some off days from URD after the last update and than ive worked on new updates for EGT and T5 that will come this week allready. So no big progress on that but i have to those. Dont worry, im allways posting progress here if i think its ready to be shown or worth to be shown.

You completly cant hear them or are they simply very low? We did lower those as there were issues before not hearing own sound good enough, i might adjust that now slightly with next update.

 

it's been menetioned a few times Ales that the opponents sound is too low, even at 100% in the Sound Control page it's hard to hear them properly.
