[REL] EnduranceRacingX EGT by URD Update V2 July 2016!

    Some RL data from today's WEC race:

    Six Hours of Spa

    LMP1:
    Toyota #7 pits on lap 21 - fuel and tyres
    Toyota # 8 pits on lap 22 - fuel and tyres
    Audi #1 pits on lap 22 - fuel only (higher downforce, less tyre wear)
    Audi #2 pits on lap 22 - fuel only (higher downforce, less tyre wear)
    Porsche pits on lap 23 - fuel and tyres

    Porsche repits at lap 43 for driver change

    GTE Pro:
    AF Corse 458, AMR Vantage & Porsche 911 all pit on lap 24.
    All took fuel and tyres except AMR (for strategy reasons)
    Average GTE Pro lap in race 2:20
    AMR pits early for fuel, tyres and driver at 47; Porsche at lap 50.

    Nice race today, shame about the missing US Brands though.

    Oh yea. Thought i was surprised how slow Audis were, even with the low drag version wich was even slower. But im glad that toyota is getting there cars to such speeds, they deserve.
    Porsche needs to sort some issues and for second race they are on pace to.
    GTE cars as usually, some nice battles but as you mentioned US brands would be great with those.

    over 300,000 views of this thread !!! get this mod completed and rf2 MP sorted and we will see servers crowded im sure, cant wait for next update ..

    In march was the second update. First post usually updated on that but forgot to do it this time.

    Yes, once all EGT cars are done. We had some tests sofar and was even included in some beta releases but didnt bring any mayor differente.


    Not planned sofar, right now the list is allready big and will take some time but who knows.

    Except c6r all should have there own lemans AI setups. So wich ones now actually dont load there?

    I have used sysinternals process explorer to figure out at which locations the rF2.exe is looking for svm files.
    Here are my results for the URD Endurance mod at LeMans.

    -rF2Data\UserData\LeMans91AI.svm
    -rF2Data\UserData\player\Settings\LeMans91_AM Racing.svm
    -rF2Data\UserData\player\Settings\LeMans91_Bayro Racing.svm
    -rF2Data\UserData\player\Settings\LeMans91_Corvette Racing.svm
    -rF2Data\UserData\player\Settings\LeMans91_Darche Racing.svm
    -rF2Data\UserData\player\Settings\LeMans91_Labre Competition.svm
    -rF2Data\UserData\player\Settings\LeMans91_Venom Racing.svm

    Moddev tries to open "LEMANS91.RACE.SVM" at several locations but not in the main vehicle folder "rF2Data\ModDev\Vehicles\C6r_ZR1". "rF2Data\ModDev\Vehicles\C6r_ZR1\Teams\LEMANS91.RACE.SVM" should work.

    Certainly Porsche is very slow on the straights, Vipers too. I've not memorized which cars exactly, but some do ~250 and others ~270. They are early in the limiter compared with the other cars - that's the two I noticed.

    Change the gearing on the Darsche and they will do 173mph down the Mulsanne Straight.

    Not complete sure but I think you have to customize the AI setup in the path as Tosch above posted.
    For example in Le Mans this is the Used AI setup.

    Yes I could do that, but Ales has already included setups with the cars so we're trying to figure out why they are not being used.

    There are settings that could override the car's default special setup. There's these entires in the .plr file:

    Fixed Setups="0" // use fixed setups specified in UserData\<plr>\FavoriteAndFixedSetups.gal (based on track and vehicle class)
    Fixed AI Setups="0" // whether AI use the fixed setups, only applicable if "Fixed Setups" is also enabled (and can be used in single player to have the AIs use your favorite setup)

    hi guys can someone tell me what EGT cars are still in work maybe a NISSAN GTR or something im having such a fun driving them :)

    Trouble with fixed setups is the AI will use yours, so how that'll work with a multi car mod needs to be tested.
    In reality toschs suggestion should work just fine, make sure file names are spot on as I've been flummoxed by that before.
    Also if it works in dev mode it doesn't mean it'll definitely work in single player.

    Worth trying a combination of those two fixed setups settings too if all else fails.

    I got it to work using Tosch's method. Using the fixed setups route would work if classes are set correctly as has been suggested.
