    The Darche sounds alot better now in my opinion. In the last version you could hardly hear the engine in 5th and 6th gear and the sound wasnt satisfying me overall

    I think that the old sound actually reminded me more of a Porsche than the new one.. But when listening to the real endurance Porsche onboad videos, the new one is accurate.
    BUT, it sounds like it's actually captured from a onboard video because like I said, there is no bass. When driving, it sounds like the sound comes from my old radio speaker. Maybe some more tweaking and it will be perfect.

    Btw, just a small graphic bug... The shadows on the dashboard is cut off.

    The shadow isn't actually cut off, it's what I reported a few pages back... the origin of the shadow is off.

    You can see this best in the Viper with the colored switchboard... you'll see shadows of throw switches showing up in the middle between them. This seems to depend mostly on sun position.

    Damn, that Darche has such a great dash, but I always have a habit of British Racing first... I wish the Aston had these looks inside. It's true that the real GTE hasn't more to show.



    Ales, is there any chance in the AM to get a bit more light on the wheel and a bit more detail in the texture (like Darche or Venom)? I think what that cockpit suffers most, besides the lack of "stuff", is that it's all in the dark and very flat. And yeah, I know the AM has one of the most set-back driver positions in the real world so the lack of lighting might be accurate, but it sure looks bad.

    BTW, a question for modders: How hard is it to skin the cockpit? You know, to add missing... stuff.

    Great job Ales! I had huge fun on my server with this for 6 hours straight with a mate of mine and a bunch of AI's... B589 works perfectly again with hosting and joining...

    Keep up the good work!

    Gave it a drive. Darche sounds so much better now, thanks Ales. No more fading after 4th, and a nice grunt to it!

    Thoroughly enjoying this :).

    Couple of feedback points:
    - Sound is delightful but a few times there is a fade in engine volume, this point varies depending on the car. The Porsche fades and comes back on 6th gear, the Corvette is a lovely low-humming but faded engine around the mid-gears.
    - I have to say I like the cockpits :p. I can't push much on graphics but I think you should keep all cockpits leveled in detail as if the cockpit camera is on free look (or edited like some folks enjoy for their video recording) it could play a factor. Now, if stuff isn't there then it isn't there and shouldn't be fabricated.
    - The feeling I get of the car when driving the Venom, the Darche, and the Arthur Merlin is very good now. I feel connected to the road in a way that is comparable to only a couple of prime ISI-stock content and the Lola. That feeling is a relatively numb in comparison when driving the Bayro and the Corvette. Could you have learned new tricks with the later cars that can be applied to the older material? The Bayro and Vette feel a lot like the DTMs did, as in, without the "I know I have four wheels because I feel them."
    - It's a brain killer trying to decide which car to use, go for one I am mildly biased to or go to another such as the Darche or Corvette that have great cockpits and audio, but are more fuel thirsty? I'll have to make a decision and stick to it for a league that starts at the end of the month and I really can't decide :p.
    - Lastly I saw this issue with the Bayro mirror, it was see-through. Screenie attached.

    If you'd like more detailed feedback or testing please do let me know, my PM box is empty (likely the opposite of yours, haha). I've also attached a modified base gearing setup, should satisfy most people especially around LeMans.

    On the screen where you choose your car, click on Tuning (at the bottom). There, look for the upgrade options. Mind you that apparently the game crashes when you try doing that with one of the Arthur Merlins (tee hee, love the name).

    Any link to download whole shebang, had issues with corrupt downloads.. Had been fine until today's updates.Would like to delete the lot and fresh install.

    Try again, i will look for more mirrors for future. New version should be ready by end of next week. Will adjust few more things, texture adjustments, file names and so on.

    Hi Ales,

    first of all ...cars are great fun to drive! Thanks for that!

    just 2 small questions though:

    1. Could you say something about the Ferruci and the Detroit arrival times?
    2. Wouldn´t it make sense to open a new topic for the upcoming PX classes?
    Since this thread has 150+ pages it would be nice to have a fresh start for the new categories
