[REL] Endurance Series rF2

But great mod, and for being free in a day where modders want to be paid, well that goes a long way in my book. THey could of easily charged RSS prices here!

Yeah, how dare talented people want to be paid for their hard work. Earning money is so overrated, buying food, paying the house, who wants to do that.
Free modding is nice and easier as long as you have a day job, you go home at night and want to have fun modding. But when you have no job and talent, it's a little harder to work for free and get the complaints on top of that. Because not only some people like to complain for stuff they get for free, but even some guys are kiss asses of S397 and are complaining for the free mods, which is even more unbelieveable.

Yes we notice that, S397 changed also this in latest build without informing moders and we are impacted by this:

We wait for details to be able to fix it.

Out of interest, have you spoken to the developers, are they assisting you with this? Considering you're the main purpose as to why we continue to play this game, I'd be VERY surprised if they've made no effort to communicate with you.

We have a very good support from S397 team, yes. Fact is we were not informed of a game update on our release day and its content, but with the build 2.00 release we knew another update would be needed later on, so it is not much of a problem.

I normally drive the USF2000 in my own offline series. I tried the cars in this mod and enjoyed driving them and would like to set up a series for offline also. I know there are three categories--gte, lmp2 and lmp3. If I wanted to limit the series to just lmp2 cars, I could put together a grouping of the 16ELMS cars in the P2 group and they would be relatively equally balanced and competitive, correct?
I am curious why there are a couple of 16ELMS open cockpit cars, but the majority are closed. Does that make any real difference?

Yeah, fantastic mod. The cars require some proper set up but overall, super fun and they feel great. What about the 2017 Porsche RSR :)), any future plans? Thanks a lot for your hard work.

All the new cars use CPMv2 tires but somehow they feel different than CPM tires i.e. in Renaut Megane or C6R GT2.
Generally cars are more stable and "planted", slide less, less bumpy. Maybe it's some other settings(i.e. dampers) but tires even don't make similar sound like the official ISI cars that have CPMv1.

Also driving cameras are weird. Cockpit camera has too wide FOV, so that windscreen looks small. The other camera is useless for driving IMO it should be replaced with bonnet camera.

Still in test with other improvements.
But cockpit camera seems to be placed too far away or somehow windscreen is too small comparing to other mods. In reality you see much more in front of you. Also bonnet view would be nice addition to driving cameras.

There's controls for seat position inside rf2, look through the control settings to set some keys.

Is it just me or is it impossible to adjust the side mirrors properly?
They appear to be zoomed in and using the key binds to change the settings does not do anything.
In VR this is.

Change the FOV in game, put 50 to be like S397 cars.

Thanks, that did the trick. Previously I tried adjusting seat position, which I guess gives similar result, but had to move it way forward for the new GTE cars.
Anyway great mod I like that you care about physics and use S397 recommendations like CPM2 tires.

I also noticed significantly less tire squeal sound. Also ISI/S397 cars, like C6R GT2 or Camaro GT3 slide more and I think are more bumpy than GTEs. You can hear squeal each bump, when tire touches asphalt, or losses traction. You can also feel it through FFB in S397 cars. In general for me GTEs are easier to drive than similar ISI/S397 cars. However, I don't know which ones are more realistic (especially S397 Camaro GT3 seems to slide/oversteer too much).
I don't think the difference is because of new tires, because they are CPMv2 adapted from S397. More likely it's because of different setup (i.e. dampers)
