There is not difference in the tire conception between Flat6 & the ES cars.

Therefore I'll look forward to the CPM update as I too struggled to feel flat spots in the flat 6 mod.

Thanx! Once on track, i just keep on doing lap after lap. :o Very addictive.

I've one little issue with the cars specularity. It looks like fresnel min is to high (my guess fresnel min is more then 0,3 with a high spec power around 100, don't know for sure). It causes whashed out colors and some shimmering at sharp edges and when the sun is casting on the hood of the car, the whole hood is white, even on a black car.
Racecars don't have a clear coating, so i would go for a lower specularity. but that's a personal preference.

I have nothing but praise for this release. A few of us were driving it from the time it came out until some stupid hour in the morning. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a new mod so much. The LMP2's are everything I dared hope they would be. Weighty, precise, but so alive in how they feel. You really have to drive the things which is such a refreshing change for cars with this grip level. Hoping we'll have some videos of our racing last night, it was brilliant. The only complaint I've had so far is the external sounds seem on the quiet side in comparison to the internal.

Same problem, tried to download 3 times, but the result does not change ... any solution?
 
I downloaded yesterday from Mega without problems. Maybe try other mirrors or other browsers/managers to download with?
Here are sizes from my file properties:
Size: 2,78 GB (2 992 723 595 bytes)
Size on disk: 2,78 GB (2 992 726 016 bytes)

Yes, I re-downloaded from Mega which is what I originally used and the verification/install was successful.

My file appeared to install the first time, but there was no tick next to the 'Installed' column and no cars appeared within the sim itself. My original file was also the correct size.

Uninstall/delete the ER_ESrF2 from your installations/packages folder
Go into Documents > rFactor 2 > Installed > Vehicles > Delete the 'ER_ESrF2' folder (not sure if required but I did it anyway)
Make sure you have enough hard drive space.
Re-download and run through the installation process as normal

One question, I thought the 430 with the sequential stick didn't have auto blip? Seems to be auto clutching and blipping on downshifts.

Any way to turn this off? I've looked through the player.json but all assists are switched off.

This video shows the driver clutching and blipping during downshifts

 
As already announced and reminded in the post 1:
Don't forget to read carefully the instructions to install and setup correctly the mod. Be carefull, the mod is big, reaching almost 3Gb in this first release. As we already communicated, some cars are available in the build 1.00 (F430 & Flat6 RSR) and are planned to be replaced by more up to date models.

The physics are GTE based, so autoblip on all GTE cars.

This is an amazing mod! Had to be at work early this morning yet I stayed up past midnight and all I was doing was hot lapping.
 
for me the success of this mod is the chevrolet....i m not saying the rest of the cars are not good i just want to say that is the 1st time that i like to hear and drive a chevrolet ...thanks for this mod all cars are top quality
