[WIP] Eifel Sudstrecke 60's

A really successful route.
That's really fun.
Here and there a few bumps and potholes and then it's almost perfect.
Thanks a lot for this.
May I ask how long have you needed for this track?

the project start back on 2016, but i re done the track because i learn a lot of new stuff and track was outdated. This track should take 3 month 6hr/day to complete both for AC and RF2.

i usually use video sync (max fps locked to 60)
yesterday 60 fps in rest of circuit. 30 on box area.

today i tested again (8 AI) and i have 60 fps everywhere. very strange...
my latest results

Sudstrecke normal layout
with video sync = 60 fps
no sync = approximately 140 fps. in box area 70 fps

Sudstrecke sp endurance layout
with video sync = 60 fps
no sync = approximately 160 fps. in box area 120 fps

seems that endurance layout is more light, is it possible?!?

Thx Sergio, a very good conversion. I really like that you did address the color palette. Could you do the same in AC?
Just a fantastic track, great flow, nice mash (oh do I hate the pothole before braking for the lefthander leading to Nordkehre) and stunning to the eyes,
A masterpiece.

P.S.: Rainer Maria would LOVE a corresponding Nordschleife for this...
In my humble opinion, with your breathtaking GPL Targa in the back of my head, you are just the one suited doing this great track justice.

Just saying.;):)


PPS: You REALLY should make the Betonschleife available via Steam Workshop. Might raise attention much more me thinks.

mmm... it is the same track, expecpt for 3 /4 objects, strange, good to know there is not go down 60fps

thanks for that kind of words, yes, i am happy with palette, i get a good balance, dont know about AC, at my PC looks good, but many people complain about not balance, but maybe because different filter config?
i really would love to make the complete Nord layout for sure, maybe in 2020 :)
right now i am loading track to workshop :)

this rF2 Sudstrecke (Sudchleife) v1.17 payware does not start for me, CTDs, memory error. got win10, DX11, 16GB RAM, GTX970 GPU, every singe other rF2 track works, several redownloads, reinstalls, how do I fix pls?

i have same problem but i notice that it is weather related.
if you use sunny weather fps are quite good.
if i set lite cloudy, little cloudy, medium cloudy or cloudy i have many shuttering and fps drop.
maybe is it something related of shadows or reflections?
i wish in a future optimization
 
i am working on a update for this one and betonschleife, mainly stuff to fix is the "patch ramp" at brake zone, you little kids want a smoothy track for your safety :p ( a joke guys).
i am going to take a look at other stuff too, mainly at front straight, but i guest only way to solve this problem is remove some objects for medium level of detail :(

Not too easy and not to smooth please ;) I'm from the era of cars with sparks, oil and greasy hands etc. Cars which you can fix yourself in stead of plug in a computer and read out the data (that's my sons job). And thus also like it bumpy and challenging.
 
yes, i like that spot too :) oh! here come the jump again :D ... at my pc i have to says it feel a little bit more rude that others patch, so basically i will try to reduce the effect to match other areas :)
