    Hi all,

I'm looking for an option or a plugin where it is possible to change the reference lap used for the delta in the default HUD. Currently, it always uses the best lap in a session but it would be cool and helpful if this could be changed (ideally while driving).

Does anyone know of any tool/possibility to do that?

There's no mechanism for a plugin to change that reference time. It would need to be a game feature, which I agree would be cool to have options on. (which options are enabled, and be able to cycle through when in-car)

Maybe there is a workaround by removing data each start of the Game. Then you will have "best session" delta. But you will lose your "best" record.
You just need to know where that data is cached and remove it.
There is a cache folder in UserData/player. It is probably there.

Some years ago (when rF2 was on DX9), in our community, a guy developed a plugin that did this.
It saved the best time of the session and the time of the last lap.
With a button you could choose the previous lap time as a reference time or the best time.
That was very useful after tires change.

@David Steinacher , it seems that Victor has added the requested feature.
    Thank you very much @svictor.
