    Windows 10 x64
    R9 380 2GB (17.4.4 driver version)
    CPU i5 4670 8GB
    RAM DDR3
Ingame settings in both cases are same (settings in video description)
Take a look on CPU load

Yup. I have a Radeon RX 480 8GB and even I get an average of 25fps around Monaco 1966. But it's still in BETA so hopefully they can optimise it better.

CPU load will decrease when the FPS decreases as the GPU becomes the bottleneck, this is normal. What isn't normal of course is the low FPS on AMD.

It's not an AMD ONLY ISSUE!

A couple of days ago I was booting into a particular track and car with dx11 and in cockpit had 68 fps, compared to 58 in dx9. Now I get around 18. So something's definitely up, but it's not terminal.

I mean, with dx 9 i have higher fps and higher cpu load.
Kinda logic guess - if dx 11 will use more cpu i will get more fps.
    Other word - optimisation.
    But ofc its only guess.

Yea ..I'm having a drop in frames with the latest build as well -nvid 1080 3840X2160 @60Hz using 4k monitor .. @ NOLA in the US2000 i'm down in the 30's , @ Silverstone I can now hit 80's in the same cars, .. before it was 90's -120's (last DX11 build).. Also I rebuild my plr in-between builds because I've been going back & fourth to DX9 for league races & seems when i go back to DX11 I have a big performance hit unless I re build my plr ... this got me back in the 80's at Silverstone for the latest build ,before the plr change I was stuck in the 40's , NOLA however I'm still stuck in the 30's ... I'm on the C course in the US2000 ... (DX9 in 4k I'm well over 150fps same settings) so I searching for clues ..lol I see some other players with my card having higher FPS but don't think there pushing 4k .. I can live with 60fps+ .. but I'm concerned about my performance at NOLA .. if its only me then I need to start looking for some setting changes ..

anyway just reporting my experience so far !

Keep up the good work !!

Same scene I've since gone from 18 to 28, 45, and now about 51 by the looks, as updates have come out.

    Previous result (2 Days ago)..
Silverstone in the GT500 (same settings):
    DX9 - between 98-126 frames
    DX11 - between 37-63 frames

    I have i7 6700, 16GB RAM, AMD RX480 8gb (single monitor), No AI.

With the AMD Update that Studio397 has implemented and current beta unstable build:

DX11 with partial cloud - between 58-73 Frames (an improvement, but still would be slower in online multiplayer or with AI)
DX11 with no Cloud - between 96-123 frames (comparable to what I was getting with DX9 on my settings, not Max but pretty close)...

So, for AMD card at least, the clouds are a frame rate killer...

p.s. Thank you Studio 397 for addressing this issue quickly. From past experience this would not have been actioned in such an urgent manner... Bravo.
Will be interesting to watch your progress...

Must be. They make no difference to me on a 1070. It's shadows and reflections that kill me.
