@Dady Cairo Just in case I'm misunderstood... I'm talking about rFactor. How you spell other words is your choice, I think we can work it out. But spelling rFactor like that won't endear you or help get your questions answered.

Then ask for a refund .. if you are still in time.
If not, your fault, no need to be pissed off with the product you bought.
But it would be much better to express what is the problem..
You ask how many cores this program use, I assume you ask because it run bad on your system, or because you think that it run too less cores to be a serious simulation.
In the first case we can find the culprit and solve it , in the second case, it's not how it works.

Get over it, it won't impact your FPS one iota if they made it use more cores, because this game, like all others, is GPU limited.

And yet there are the fanboys saying that it's normal that rF2 has less FPS than other games because of the advanced physics. If it was the case, surely rF2 could benefit from using more cores ?

Of course rF2 isn't FPS limited by physics. FPS isn't about physics, it's about graphics. But you do need enough CPU to run the physics at full speed, and that's where people can struggle especially if other processes are interfering. And running multiple physics threads which then all combine together at 100-400-2400Hz isn't straightforward, obviously.

Which brings us back to this thread, which doesn't seem to have a point. But I know of a freeware mp3 converter that will absolutely nail every single CPU core at 100% - no doubt that would drive fantastically. Just need to work out where to calibrate my wheel.

So, thank you for confirming that the poor FPS are because rF2 is badly optimized, not because of advanced physics, which is the fanboy's favorite argument.
And thank you for your condescending tone as well.

 If you're gonna ask respectfully in the first place then expect a respectful reply, condescend from the start and...

my 2 cents... Thank God for Studio 397 take over as they have brought rF2 back to life, I know these guys are working hard to bring us the best out of this SIM...

It's apples & oranges because other games don't animate tire flex. In rF2, tire flex is linked to the physics. Potentially pCARS 2 will be doing that when it is released, but the one animation we've seen from SMS about their tire flex animation was simplified to the point of being wrong.
