No I mean you need to press enter. That menu bar on top and bottom is killing FPS in DX11.

Ok but it was working better than with the Rx in this mode.
I tried and even without the bar it works faster with the RX, i get about 22-24 fps, 17 at the start.

It should be by default, about 100mhz more.
    (you mean overclock?)

i don't understand how your memory is clocked at 2900 when the base is 2133 when mine is clocked at half the base clock.

No idea why there is 2133 been displayed. MIght this be the default I7 clock?
The memory is 32GB 3200 Mhz. But with 5GHZ cpu freq ~2950 is the current max memory frequency i can run stable because the memory controller sits in the cpu and there is a limit.

the i7 7700k can use 2400 mhz ram in theory. lol
    I don't know how you use 3200.

Then the 2133Mhz is a false-detect by userbenchmark.com, because its 3200 Mhz memory.

mine is ok. I'm using 2133 but i selected 1866 in the bios because this is the max doable by the processor and the ram is clocked at half this value.
It's ddr3 perhaps it works differently with ddr4 and the memory is clocked at the same nominal value, ie for your case around 3200.

Beta DX11 average value is average for the preceding second. It is the same as the basic fps counter in DX9. What's new are the Min & Max values.

After benchmarking many variations, I've come to the conclusion that triple screens (5760x1080) with a single GPU will not be able to run post processing reliably in cockpit view at this time. You can find some combinations that work, but not enough that will make it worthwhile.

On the other hand, it looks like 1920x1080 with everything turned up, Ultra & Level 5 AA, can be run on a vanilla GTX 1080.

However, from cockpit view, there doesn't seem to be a reason to use Ultra... most of the effects enabled in Ultra are not visible from the cockpit camera, so save it for trackside replays and screenshots. And with things in motion, Level 5 AA is overkill. By lowering the settings to Medium & Level 3 AA, you can gain 7% fps on my GTX 1080. Changing shadows to Medium and shadow blur to Fast is another 7% gain, but you'll somewhat notice the difference. These gains are independent of resolution.

Note: all measurements taken with no sync.

It changes faster than with the rx480. You can go from 27 fps to 53 in one second, and back to 30 last second.

OK, what am I doing wrong? I have Brabham BT20 v 1.8 and Mores v 1.8. Thanks to idiotic Steam and lack of care about version numbers when posting things in the Steam Workshop, I have no real way to confirm if these are the latest versions, but I believe they are.

The other cars on the track have no suspension parts showing and I am getting quite horrid looking shadows on Mores. Probably even worse than DX9. Most everything else graphically looks quite nice, but it appears that one still has to use supersampling to get decent looking shadows. I was hoping DX11 might redress that long-standing problem with rFactor that we have had since 2005. ALL my graphics settings are maxed-out.

So do I not have the latest versions? Or is there a problem with the BT20 and shadows are still far from improved?
