Lando Norris starts the race weekend at Zandvoort in fine fashion as he tops FP1 ahead of Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton.

That is, of course, if they can fight back from 3rd & 4th after the first turn!

The kind of speed Lando showed with his McLaren at Zandvoort, he will be hard to beat in the upcoming races unless Red Bull makes a significant improvement with its car.

    Real dilemma

Lando repeats this for another 9 races ( win + fastest lap ) he is WC by 2 points.
Oscar is not going to play gopher boy either.
Even with fastest car every race I still think they will fall over themselves eventually.

It is surprising to see that McLaren is not pushing for the WDC at the moment. Their main focus seems to be only on winning the WCC.

Did you not watch 2007? :p

It can vary by team, and era (/drivers). It's certainly a long time since most teams were built around (or even by) a driver. As long as the drivers at a team know what the deal is - and you can be sure the ones at McLaren do - it's simply how it is. I wouldn't expect favouritism at McLaren until one driver is mathematically out of it, or at least closer to that point.
