it's completely original MP4/8 with shadow skins...no any changes to physics, tyres, talent files etc. Just skins. Skins have no any effect on AI behavior
That's true, as long as they are really ONLY Skins. But what stays is my Doubt. If it would be a general Problem in the Code, i would have been able to easily reproduce it.
ONLY skins! I know enough about rFactor to say that. Just try to do several races in the middle of pack with close competition when AI is more or less faster than you. And you will see... Of course it doesn't happen every time... sometimes AI behaves appropriately and attentively, but sometimes they do something stupid as it is on my videos. You can have adequate clear racing and fight with AI during several laps but then suddenly it drives into you. it only took me a few races to record all these AI faults on videos above
okay. Finally I did some tests with S397 official content Car: McLaren Senna DLC Track: Circuit d'Azur (Monaco) Settings: AI strength 100%, AI aggression 5%, AI limiter 5% 1. AI cars just hit the walls without any reason 2. AI cars hit the walls and each others while trying to overtake in places where no room for overtaking 3. AI just ram into other car Conclusion: All of these incidents happened on first three laps... I even didn't bother myself to run full race distance because it has zero sense considering such AI condition...and funny thing - I have other free version of Monaco track from workshop and it seems that AI behaves there even better than on this official track I don't want to be rude and overly critical but... really...it's paid content and when I buy it, I expect it to work properly... at least without such obvious bugs...and I will be able to race with the AI drivers without worrying about what other stupid things they might do...
At Belle Isle i have also garages and pit spots at the same place and no issues. Which track is this NJ Lightning? ok, had a look at Lightning. This is no AI problem but a wrong setting in the gdb. Garagedepth is set to 2.5 which means afaik the AI cars drive for 2.5 car lenghts straight before steering to the pit line. As the pit and garage spots are a bit narrow this value must be lowered. With 0.1 all cars leave garages/pits without issues
Same problem here. AI crashing into human driver as hell. Seems mostly modding cars have that problem?
I have the same issue, can't even get past the first few corners without getting rear ended. This is with a fresh install all official cars and tracks.
@DatBoi wich car and track ? I don't have any issue with gte on donington nationale or spa for example My position at the start race = 27 ai drivers = 29 ai strength = 105% ai agression = 75% ai limiter =0
Thanks. Anyone around who can help me with the command to install v1132 with steamcmd? Cant get it working, get allways v1133 installed.
open steam right click rfactor 2 click properties select betas beta participation select "previous-release - this is the previous public stable build"
Yes, thanks, i know that allready. I was asking for the batch command to install that version with steamcmd. I have a second install with steamcmd... I`m using this in my batch file: Code: call steamcmd +force_install_dir "E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\rfactor2_steamcmd" +login <User> <Password> +app_update 365960 -beta v1132 validate +quit but it installs allways v1133.
Can someone please explain what this thread is finally about? Is about big cars crashing in Monaco? I'd like to try the problematic combo but it's hard to read. It's all about sad and angry emotions but little info about which problem happens with which combo.
