DRM Revival, still not possible on rF2?

I hope they are amazing @vava74 weird how I only learn about them now from you.

They do look good and sound good. And there are so many of them. Not cheap either. To me most amazing perhaps is the quantity and that they are available for AC too. Difficult to count as there is no neat order in his store, but it looks like he has at least 15 different cars. 2-3 months per car assuming they are all made from scratch, that is a lot of time, at least four to five years of intense work, almost full time probably. Of course it helps that cars are all similar, some assets such as wheels probably can be shared between some cars, physics although different should also have a lot in common making development quicker.

These 80s and 90s cars are very interesting, shame there is almost no exposure about them, no talking, no mentioning, almost nothing is known, the only way to find out seems to be buying one and finding out.

Makes me wonder if DRM mod would also be so secret and hidden. Where are the reviews ? Impressions ? Good and bad things. Likes and dislikes. Various opinions... Nothing is there about nothing. It is communicational desert.

I would love to see the DRM cars. I read an article by S397 regarding the tire on the March 761 and the BT44. A lot of work went into it.

I have also dabble with few cars of this type. I did 935KKK for myself. And did this experimental BMW 3.2 CSL Turbo from 1976, which BMW didn't race much, but they were crazy enough to allow it to be boosted up to 1000hp and above. It doesn't make sense above 800hp, I can tell you that. I was also happy how tires turned out, for dry and wet too, I have kept on this late seventies momentum on my WIP 1978 Tyrrell 008 project, which also is going well.

This BMW is not quite one of those DRM cars, but it is one of them principally

With stupid amounts of boost

My car requires a lot higher curbs to achieve rolling over (and it still didn't here somehow, maybe because it was wet)

And the original performance was altered for the league's purpose. So it's not what we'd call "Historic Edition."
They are making a historic version too with original performances. Also, they collaborated I think, with some of the original DRM models too. Either way, rF2 finally has good Group 5 cars, so any complaints, at least from my point of view, are moot. Let's get to driving and pause the speculation! Happy Holidays everyone.

If it's an own, new made Mod, it should be published in a new Thread, but you posted it here with the Words "The Wait is over", which only leads to Irritations, , because this Thread is about the DRM Revival Mod.

@Storm Gang Simulation will surely make a post somewhere here. They are using a mix of assets, some from AMS1, ie. Matt Sibanyoni's work, an all encompassing DRM mod, developed the original from rF1 (I believe ? - a different branch from the same tree that is now in AC), the Porker 935 from @ThomasJohansen, ...
