My understanding is that it's the same as rF1. Nothing has changed in this regard.. Although, rf1 did have problems with it, and random crashes (which I hope have been resolved for rF2), I think you will find that it's still being done the same way.
Unless it was enabled in the last build (and it's not in the release notes) then no, it's not enabled yet. I talked to someone in a forum who tried it and it's a feature that's just not enabled yet.
