It would be a nice feature if you could drive into your pit garage and it would exit you to the monitor screen. Currently it seems you always have to press ESC to leave the track. Also at the end of a race if you park in your pit box nothing happens, it would make sense for it to exit to monitor in the situation as well.
+1 I think there could be an "Exit to monitor" option (during practice and qualifying) in pit menu so one could still be able to practice pit stops too.
Yes that would be possible with my idea, it would exit to monitor when you drive into the garage not pit box.
