    Hi guys,

I would like to disable all carupgrades from the URD Mod. Deleting the upgrade.ini or deleting the GMT files doesn't work. Does anyone know how to do it?

    Thanks in advance

    Cheers Stefan

For personal use? Or for a server?

Deleting the not wanted lines from the upgrades.ini doesn't work?

You probably need to keep the default settings in upgrades.ini and only delete all extra upgrades. Or edit the GEN files and include the missing stuff from upgrades.ini there. I guess if you just delete upgrades.ini you will be losing entire car parts, which is why it outputs error.

Isn't there a fixed upgrades option for servers? I haven't used it myself.

You can force upgrades in the trackconfigbase.ini.

My example is with Sorg Le Mans and the AM car.

With front fog lights off, Windshield clean and Rear wing high downforce the content of trackconfigbase.ini should look like this:

    "LeMans SRorg 2016":
    Front fog lights=1
    Windshield Dirty/Clean=1
    Rear wing high/low downforce=0

First line is the event name which you can get from the gdb file. This must be surrounded by quotation marks. Don't forget the colon after this.

The next lines are dependent of the upgrades.ini.

Each upgrade starts with UpgradeType="Upgrade name". E.g. Front fog lights. Next you have to choose which UpgradeLevel you want to force. If you want the first entry it will be 0, if you want the second entry it will be 1, and so on.
