Hello, in real life open-wheel racing (specially Formula 1), rookie / test drivers have green color in the rain / pitlane light as you can see here: http://f1.imgci.com/PICTURES/CMS/24700/24767.jpg I am thinking in how to do it but I think that the material name bust be RAINLIGHT so it works, am I right? If yes, then... how could I make 2 different models with same material name? In rFactor 2, same materials name = load the same textures + specs for both. Greetings.
Does the material need to be the same name, or is it just the .GEN "Instance=RAINLIGHT" that does it? In F1 all the rainlights are red, I'm pretty sure.
Thats the question I don't know to answer And yeah, f1 rainlights are red but other open wheels have different colors and also f1 has green lights in preseason testing.
You may find the quickest way to find out is to try it. I just did some reading, it seems in test sessions drivers without a super license have green lights. Obviously it doesn't happen in race weekends as everyone has a super license. It's also specified as Red in the race regulations.
All you can do is put _somename at the instance Instance=RAINLIGHT_somename This should be done to all car lights if there is multiple cars in the mod. Otherwise all cars get the same lights.
