There was some discussion about the DLC Audi's rear tires running about 10 degrees hotter than the fronts. Was this confirmed? or Was this just a matter of setup?
Setup. They must not have different tyres on a car of the same class. But we won't know, because............ locked down
They are not only hotter, they cool down slower than the front tyres on every GT car and even on the Lmp 2 . I think this is related to the rubber layer thicknes. I thinner one cools down faster because it can't safe that much heat like I thicker one.
