Developer Option in launcher Greyed out

Today I completely erased rf2 from my drive and installed again as I was getting runtime error message every time I tried to host a game. Since the fresh install everything seems to be working but the Developer option on the launcher is greyed out.

Any ideas how to get this option back again?

You probably need to install the rFactor2 SDK (Dev Mode).

Same here also.
Although this time around I installed the lite version.
So maybe it's included in the FULL installer and not in the lite?

 

as of build 198, developer mode is a optional install.
