I think I found a bug here. When I crash or just stop some where on the track and then esc. out the next time I got passt that point on track it adds loads of time. Like 70-80 sec, I guess it depends where you crashed on track. Thing is it's so much you never can get faster than that to have it properly working again .
shure, I am running build 660 (installed from light installer) what does it mean ``in case of plugin use the v06``? I download the internals plugin v6 from rfactor2 dev corner, but there is no .dll (only three folders ``win32, source, Include`` with files) I do not have a ``internalsplugin.dll`` @cosimo: instead of a message ``deltabest plugin loaded``, whats about an initial value ``+- 0.00`` when I exit the garage/pit ?
That comment was for me. Don't worry Those files are only needed if you want to write your own plugin, so not useful for you. Yes but the problem in your case is "bigger" because rf2 can't even load the plugin in the first place. No matter what I do at the start, it won't happen anyway. I hope this clarifies a bit. Until there's at least another one with the same problem, it will be a bit difficult to diagnose.
"Yes, that is a bug I know about. Thanks for reporting. I will have a look tonight" Thx because I have the same bug than Mrslfrsl. And thx for this plugin!
i am currently at a test session - but i had to come here shortly to thank you again. it works perfect!
Works fine for me too. It would be great if you could add a bar showing the delta splits. Perhaps you can attach the colours to the alternation (i hope it is the right word) of time. Like it is done in iRacing. Green: Gaining time; Red: Loosing time.
Uploaded version 4 (and updated first post). Changes: Added a sort of drop shadow to the delta time text to improve visibility Improved accuracy of delta calculations
Currently it shows red if you're slower than the comparison lap and green if you're ahead of it. What he means is that if you are gaining time compared to the previous fastest it should show green no matter if you are already + or -. Same for losing time it should always be red. So even if you're already a second up but you lose a tenth it will show red as you're losing that time.
Here's a video of how the iracing delta works. The number is red or green for overall up or down on time and the delta bar shows red or green to show losing or gaining time locally. Skip the first minute:
