[REL] Delta Best plugin for rFactor 2

To answer my own question.... Sorted

Grabbed all the Deltabest files and dropped into Bin32 and bin 64 / plugins folders.

Did the same for the the pedal overaly plugin as well, and now all displayed

 

hiho,

i use Windows 10 Pro x64 and the v20 from Delta Best Plugin.

The Plugin runs perfectly, but it dont save my laps! What can i do that the Plugin save my laps?

Yes, that is the correct procedure.

 

no problem .

i have many different installations for different leagues.
and to have an better folder structure on my SSD i have all installations copyed in an folder named rFactor 2.
In the folder rFactor 2 i had all the different installations eg rFactor2_GTPro, rFactor2_V8 and so on.
But there is the problem with many Plugins. The main folder rFactor 2!

I have renamed the main folder from rFactor 2 to Simulations again and all problems are gone...

 

The zip file of Version 19 appears to be broken.

 

IIRC it was compressed with 7zip.
Use v20 though.

 

am I blind? where can I find v20?

 

Sorry. That was just a private testing version...

 

Alright so I will stick with v19, which indeed unzipped with 7zip.

it still doesn't work after driver swaps. Haven't figured out how to do that. Now I've asked ISI for help.

 

Haven't got any news about driver swaps, but here's version 23 with a few improvements. Hope you'll like it!

List of changes for v23/Anderstorp

(v21 and v22 were just test versions with limited distribution)

• Fixed a few logic mistakes in how the best lap is saved. Now the best lap time should be saved more accurately.
• Added a chat message when a best lap is restored from file, so you will know what is your best time in the same car/track combination.
• Changed how the Delta info is shown. Now it's never shown when the player is in the pits, and should be there from the first timed lap whenever you already have a saved lap from before.
• other minor fixes.

The 64 bit dll is not included? Is this only working with 32 bit version now?

 

Only 64 bit DLL is included.
I don't plan to include the 32 bit DLL anymore, so I dropped the "_x64" suffix too.

It still doesn't save fastest laptimes, at least for me. Could you tell where exactly in the system (path) the file should be written? Every time I restart rF2 I lose my best laptimes and the tool starts from scratch. Maybe it tries to write where it has no permissions?

Or maybe it's Steam version that interferes ?
